## What this site is

This domain is the public demo for **High-Velocity Content Engine** (HVCE)—a **publishing engine for one specific job**: take a spreadsheet or structured catalog of comparable items and turn it into a fast, faceted, fully crawlable site.

It is **not** a generic website builder. This demo shows sample catalogs and what a finished HVCE site looks like.

## What HVCE does

HVCE stores catalogs in **SQLite** (`data/catalog.sqlite`, the sole catalog source of truth) and produces faceted indexes, entity profiles, compare, widgets, sitemaps, `llms.txt`, `semantic-manifest.jsonl`, markdown twins, and JSON-LD kept in sync with the HTML.

**JSONL is export/interchange only.** There is no Redis/Postgres cluster for the public catalog.

## How engagement works

1. **Hosted Builder (self-serve)** — `/account/start` at **$1499/year** (one staging workspace + Control Deck + static export), billed via **Stripe**.
2. **Hire for a build** — `/contact/` for scoped contracting.
